COOK SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Position Overview We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Cook Supervisor position at Lakeside Medical in Belle Glade, FL. The role involves supervising food‑service associates, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols, and managing day‑to‑day kitchen operations. Location & Schedule Location: 39200 Hooker Highway, Belle Glade, FL 33430. Schedule: Full‑time with variable days and weeks; weekend work required. Compensation $20.00–$22.00 per hour. Responsibilities Train employees; plan, assign, and direct work. Appraise performance, reward, and discipline associates. Address complaints and resolve problems. Advise management on purchasing to minimize waste and avoid shortages. Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperature, and portion control. Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use. Store, label, and date food items; maintain food rotations to minimize spoilage. Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety. Operate food‑service equipment safely and per established policies. Assist in serving meals and remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive feedback. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hospitality experience. Data entry experience. Ability to supervise staff and manage scheduling. Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Florida Level 2 background screening is required for certain positions.
