What You'll Do As a Senior Manager - BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the non-life insurance sector business. You will grow and deploy a team of sector/topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of IP projects. You will be responsible for the team's performance. Additionally, as a Senior Manager - BCG Vantage, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams. BCG's Insurance Practice Area helps companies identify and develop growth opportunities that reshape the future of the insurance industry. We globally serve all insurance industry sectors, i.e. life insurance, property & casualty insurance, commercial & reinsurance as well as health insurance.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context
  • Leading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools, sector/topic materials, in US P&C, commercial insurance and reinsurance.
  • Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility
  • Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact
  • Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively
  • Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years consulting experience in P&C, commercial insurance or reinsurance required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Deep expertise and experience in P&C, commercial insurance or reinsurance
  • Fluency in English
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their practical applications, or a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below. * The base salary range for this role in Chicago is $152,300.00 - $156,700.00 This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness. In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 25% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.   • Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children
  • Low $10 (USD) copays for trips to the doctor, urgent care visits and prescriptions for generic drugs
  • Dental coverage, including up to $5,000 in orthodontia benefits
  • Vision insurance with coverage for both glasses and contact lenses annually
  • Reimbursement for gym memberships and other fitness activities
  • Fully vested Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contributions made annually, whether you contribute or not, plus the option for employees to make personal contributions to a 401(k) plan
  • Paid Parental Leave and other family benefits such as elective egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement
  • Generous paid time off including 12 holidays per year, an annual office closure between Christmas and New Years, and 15 vacation days per year (earned at 1.25 days per month)
  • Paid sick time on an as needed basis
