Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial assessments and interviews with clients to document their mental, emotional, and behavioral health, tracking their progress from assessment through completion of treatment.

• Utilize clinical expertise to evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders, integrating findings into individualized intervention and recovery strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that cater to diverse client needs and backgrounds.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress against established treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social workers, to develop comprehensive intervention plans for clients.

• Provide ongoing case management by coordinating referrals and follow-up care for clients requiring hospitalization or specialized treatment.

• Educate and guide family members and caregivers on managing behavioral challenges, promoting a supportive environment for recovery.

• Stay informed about advancements in psychotherapy and mental health best practices through continuous professional education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base encompasses a wide range of demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your role will be crucial in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• Proof of passing scores on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor in diverse settings.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Strong knowledge of co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as an understanding of addiction and recovery processes.

• Familiarity with the standards and practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
