Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Grand Central Wellness & Psychiatry, your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating regularly with physicians to provide updates on patient progress, needs, and any concerns or issues that arise during treatment.

• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to departmental policies that ensure quality and compliance.

• Responding promptly to clients in crisis situations, delivering immediate support and intervention aimed at ensuring their safety and stability.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ progress towards established treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Collaborating closely with clients' families and support systems to facilitate comprehensive discharge planning and ongoing support post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals struggling with substance use and addiction. The clientele at our detox center often require complex assessments and tailored interventions to address both their immediate needs and underlying mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an outpatient or detox setting, demonstrating competency in handling a variety of clinical scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits\n
