Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Vehicle Entry in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Join a caring, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or associates by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access-control records while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
