The firm provides aggressive, client-centered advocacy and offers services in both English and Spanish. Role Description The Tax Attorney is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves representing clients in tax disputes and negotiations with federal and state tax authorities, including the IRS, FTB, EDD, and CDTFA. The Tax Attorney will analyze complex tax situations, develop tax resolution strategies, prepare legal documents, and handle administrative hearings, appeals, and, when necessary, litigation. Daily responsibilities include advising clients on tax planning and compliance, reviewing financial and tax records, coordinating with the internal accounting team, and communicating case progress clearly and professionally. The Tax Attorney will also collaborate with other tax professionals in the firm to ensure consistent, high-quality service and effective resolution of client matters. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law and Tax Law, with the ability to interpret and apply federal and state tax regulations. Experience with Tax Planning and Tax advisory for individuals and businesses. Knowledge of Estate Planning and related tax implications for high-net-worth clients. Active JD degree from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar (in good standing). Prior experience in tax controversy, tax litigation, or representation before the IRS or state tax agencies is highly preferred. Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong client communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in an on-site environment; Spanish language proficiency is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
