Construction Estimator - Sarasota, FL
Magnum Builders is growing-and we're looking for a Construction Estimator with a strong GMP background who brings a true builder mentality to the table. This isn't a "sit behind a desk and just crunch numbers" role. We want someone who understands how projects actually get built and can help drive projects from early budgeting through buyout. What You'll Do- Develop conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates
- Lead preconstruction from early design through final pricing
- Work closely with PMs, field teams, and subs
- Level bids, build scopes, and identify value engineering opportunities
- Help ensure estimates reflect real-world construction
- 5+ years with a GC in estimating/preconstruction
- Strong experience putting together GMPs
- Solid understanding of means & methods (builder mindset)
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Team player who values relationships
- Tight-knit team with real impact
