Anticipated End Date: 2026-08-03 Position Title: Actuarial Analyst II Job Description: Actuarial Analyst II Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Actuarial Analyst II is responsible for completing projects and performs complex actuarial studies. How You Will Make an Impact Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting. Calculates monthly claims liability reserves, develops merit rating factors and prepares Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits. Coordinates special actuarial projects Plan Pricing Factors & Compliance Testing: Contribute to the development of benefit relativities used in pricing, along with compliance calculations for Actuarial Values, Mental Health Parity, and other regulatory requirements Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance current workflows, streamline data collection/analysis, and promote best practices to improve efficiency and output quality. Strategic Product Development: Provide actuarial expertise to product development teams by evaluating benefit design options, pricing impacts, and unique plan assessments for specialized client needs. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $84,744 to $138,672.
