Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians to understand their individual needs and develop a comprehensive treatment program tailored to each patient's specific conditions and goals.
• Implement evidence-based practices to treat a variety of patient specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide expert therapeutic care at the patient's residence, ensuring that your methods align closely with the prescribed plan of care from physicians.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times, contributing positively to the overall patient experience and satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to maximize patient recovery outcomes, sharing insights and strategies to improve care pathways.
• Engage in patient education by consulting and training patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques and exercises to support recovery.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to organizational objectives aimed at enhancing service provision and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from various conditions requiring physical therapy, which includes a diverse population ranging from children to older adults. You'll work with individuals facing challenges such as post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and reconditioning for athletic performance. By understanding and adapting to their unique circumstances, you will help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with proficient computer skills, to efficiently document treatments and maintain patient records.
• A genuine desire to connect and build relationships with patients, ensuring they exceed their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with home care or outpatient services.
• Experience with a variety of patient populations, including those with orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
