Staff Accountant

Unity Search has partnered with a growing organization that needs an experienced Staff Accountant on a contract basis to step in and make an immediate impact. This is a hands-on role that will provide critical support during a time of transition, offering high visibility to leadership and the opportunity to navigate a dynamic environment. The position is expected to last 3 to 4 months (with potential flexibility) and includes the chance to work alongside a collaborative team. Responsibilities Support accounting operations during a period of transition, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all work Assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities Perform VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and Excel reporting Partner with leadership on reporting, analysis, and process improvements Provide royalty calculations support (a plus, not required) Assist with an upcoming system transition (prior system migration experience is a plus, but not required) Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs during role transitions Adapt quickly to evolving processes and organizational changes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a staff-level role Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables required) Seniority level Associate Employment type Contract Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
