Accounts Payable Specialist Company Summary Our client is a privately owned company managing multiple residential properties and a commercial office building. They are a small, stable office team with a long-tenured staff and a hands-on, old school work environment focused on accuracy and reliability.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely, accurate payments
- Review and allocate invoices across multiple properties
- Prepare handwritten checks using manual checkbooks
- Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation (~40 vendors)
- Track receipts and apply expenses to the correct property
- Use Rent Manager and Excel to record transactions
- Apply discounts and verify invoice accuracy
- Assist with light administrative duties (phones, mail/post office runs)
- Accounts payable or bookkeeping experience required
- Property management experience preferred (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Comfortable with manual processes and handwritten checks, must have neat legible handwriting.
- Basic Excel skills; experience with Rent Manager is a plus
- Reliable and able to work independently in a small office setting
- $23 - $27 Hourly
