This role will primarily be conducted remotely, enabling you to provide vital mental health support and services to patients dealing with cancer and its psychological impact. Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate both traditional therapeutic approaches and alternative healing methods to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Conduct a combination of in-person and virtual counseling sessions with individuals, couples, families, or groups, adapting your methods to the format that best serves your clients.

• Employ evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and other innovative techniques that are tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Stay updated with the latest research in the mental health field and integrate new findings into your therapeutic practice to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—including oncologists, nurses, and social workers—to provide comprehensive care and support for clients.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to continually refine your skills and expand your knowledge base.
\n
• Accurately document client therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with best practices and organizational protocols.

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, ensuring that you have a comprehensive understanding of their needs and challenges.

• Perform any other duties as assigned to support the organization and enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on serving cancer patients by providing psychosocial assessments and therapeutic support throughout their journey—from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and end-of-life care. You will play a crucial role in addressing the mental health impact of cancer, offering compassionate counseling, support groups, and psychoeducation for both patients and their caregivers.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid and current state Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory as per state regulations.

• Ability to smoothly coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly, listen actively, and appreciate the input of others.

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, as verified by a Third Party.
\n
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n
