Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews and ongoing assessments, documenting client progress from the first consultation through to successful treatment outcomes.

• Design customized intervention and recovery plans for a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring each plan is reflective of unique client needs.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic methodologies that align with best practices in mental health.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed improvements or emerging challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to devise and coordinate comprehensive intervention strategies for clients.

• Maintain clear communication with clients’ healthcare teams and provide necessary follow-up for those requiring hospitalization, ensuring a seamless transition to outpatient care.

• Proactively identify potential barriers to recovery, addressing them creatively to enhance the therapeutic process.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, guiding them toward constructive involvement in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults and families, facing diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. This role emphasizes a holistic approach, prioritizing culturally competent and individualized care to empower clients in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor with expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and communication.

• Understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including experience with addiction disorders.

• Acquaintance with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and methodologies.

• Familiarity with the impact of psychotropic medications prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with exceptional interpersonal abilities and a compassionate demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, with additional incentives such as a sign-on bonus.
