Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to clients' individual needs.

• Provide a combination of individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing virtual platforms to accommodate clients’ preferences and needs.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including frequent communication regarding patient progress and changes in treatment plans.
\n
• Document therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.
\n
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies to continuously enhance therapeutic practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to refine skills and increase knowledge in the mental health field.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions, sharing insights and strategies to improve client outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations concerning mental health practice.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on cancer patients at various stages of their treatment journeys. You will be supporting clients through their diagnoses, treatment plans, and emotional upheavals that can accompany such significant life changes. In addition, your role extends to caregivers, providing them with psychosocial support and resources to navigate the challenges they face while caring for loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A valid social work license according to state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party sources.
\n
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Strong communication skills, with the capacity to share information clearly, listen actively, and respect the contributions of others.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
