Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health specialists, nurses, and social workers, to create and adjust intervention plans.

• Engage in follow-up communications with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospital admission, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify actions and behaviors that may hinder recovery and implement strategies to address these concerns.

• Support and educate family members and primary caregivers on managing mental and behavioral challenges associated with their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and mental health challenges. This includes those experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, trauma, and other emotional struggles. Your insight and guidance will play a pivotal role in enabling clients to navigate their mental wellness journeys effectively, fostering resilience and independence.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a similar discipline.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington is essential.
