Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, establishing a holistic view of their mental health.

• Develop individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with clients to set realistic goals tailored to their specific needs and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and effective self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes and promote improved mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care solutions for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually refine therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance in all documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work predominantly with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients belong to vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, each requiring a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
