About the Role

The Company is seeking a Corporate Controller to join its Executive Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of the organization's financial accounting practices and reporting structure. This hands-on role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and overseeing the distribution of financial statements and reports. The Corporate Controller will also be tasked with maintaining a strong internal control environment, managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, and preparing various financial reports in compliance with GAAP. Additionally, the role includes budget tracking, cash management, and supervising the accounts payable and payroll functions. Applicants for the Corporate Controller position at the company should have a BS in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 12-15 years' of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years' in a supervisory or management role. A background in public accounting and a CPA are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in accounting principles, internal control systems, and financial reporting, as well as the ability to function as a member of the Executive Staff and contribute to the organization beyond the financial arena. The role requires a highly motivated, dynamic professional with excellent leadership, computer, and analytical skills, and a strong work ethic. The Corporate Controller will also be responsible for managing direct reports, fostering a team-oriented environment, and ensuring the growth and development of the accounting and finance team.
