Responsibilities Potential opportunities may exist within the following areas of International R&D: Design Engineering Support the design, development, and integration of commercial vehicle systems and components while collaborating across engineering disciplines to deliver innovative, reliable, and customer-focused transportation solutions. Test Engineering Contribute to the planning and execution of vehicle, system, and component testing by utilizing instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis tools to evaluate performance, functionality, and durability. Validation Engineering Support validation activities that ensure vehicles and systems meet engineering requirements, performance targets, reliability expectations, and customer needs through real-world and controlled testing environments. Operations Engineering Support engineering operations through prototype builds, facility and proving ground activities, technical process improvements, and cross-functional coordination that enable successful product development and testing programs. Quality Engineering Help improve product quality and reliability by analyzing performance data, supporting root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle. What You Can Expect Work alongside experienced engineers and technical professionals in a collaborative environment. Gain hands‑on exposure to the design, development, testing, and validation of commercial trucks and school buses. Contribute to projects involving current products as well as emerging technologies, including electric vehicles, advanced vehicle systems, software, and other next‑generation transportation solutions. Collaborate across engineering disciplines and with teams in manufacturing, quality, operations, procurement, and other business functions. Build technical and professional skills through mentorship, networking, training, and development opportunities. Make meaningful contributions to products and solutions that support International’s customers and help shape the future of commercial transportation. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
