Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to create and implement comprehensive mental health treatment plans for clients.

• Facilitate mental health in-service training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff, enhancing their understanding of mental health disorders and interventions.

• Proactively intervene and defuse mental health emergencies as they arise within the facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients and staff.

• Participate in commitment hearings as necessary, representing the mental health interests of clients in legal contexts.
\n
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans and goals specifically tailored for each patient.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and communications, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
\n
• Verify and assess historical mental health records of patients, including any past psychotropic medications, to inform current treatment strategies.
\n
• Generate regular reports detailing treatment progress and special incidents as required for ongoing program evaluation.
\n
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other mental health professionals to arrange for post-release referrals to support continued mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of the Healing Garden team, you will engage with a diverse range of patients who are often navigating various stages of their mental health journeys—from stabilization to recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
