Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery, 36 Hours (Nights / Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary As an RN in the Maternal Child Health/Mother Baby Department you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient‑centered care across the unit from ante‑partum to labor & delivery triage. Our team emphasizes quality improvement and supports nurses in professional growth. Job Responsibilities Deliver nursing care to patients in Maternal Child Health/Mother Baby Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and education. Communicate with healthcare team members, patients and families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records; enter and interpret computerized data. Follow BMC nursing guidelines and policies. Assist leadership team in quality improvement projects as needed. Job Requirements Licensed RN in Commonwealth of Massachusetts (BLS required; ACLS required in certain units). RN experience 1+ year preferred; nursing degree Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years. Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty; certifications for certain practice areas required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to meet job responsibilities. Basic computer proficiency. Fluency in another language a plus.
