Accounts Payable Clerk - Missouri Athletic Club - Downtown Join a great team of individuals at the Missouri Athletic Club in Downtown Saint Louis, one of the top private clubs in the United States. We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our Downtown location. Responsibilities Process, code, and file vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval and accurate payment. Prepare payments and maintain supporting documentation in accordance with accounting procedures. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve invoice discrepancies, and manage credit memos. Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and related documentation. Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and general ledger research. Process required tax payments accurately and on time. Communicate with department managers and vendors to resolve billing and payment issues. Support the Accounting Manager and CFO with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Experience in or exposure to the private club industry preferred. Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrates business ethics and strong critical thinking skills.
