Position Summary The Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Journalism with a focus on broadcasting and multimedia production. This role involves teaching, mentoring, and supporting students in multi‑platform sports media while also contributing to the school’s student media operations. Responsibilities Teach courses in sports journalism, broadcasting, and multimedia production. Mentor students in reporting, announcing, anchoring, and producing sports programming both in the studio and on site at sporting events. Provide guidance to student‑run programs such as the Rebel Report, an Emmy‑winning show, and Rebel Sports Net, a digital media platform. Engage with college and professional sports teams to build relationships and support student projects. Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• 3‑5 years of experience reporting, announcing, anchoring, and producing sports programs.
• Experience teaching or mentoring students is preferred.
• Prior to the beginning of the semester, all credentials must be verified.
