Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand the emotional, social, and financial needs of patients in detox treatment.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to create a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the holistic needs of each patient.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on adjustment issues, grief, and coping strategies to promote resilience in our patients.

• Coordinate discharge plans with community organizations to ensure that patients are connected with necessary resources post-treatment.

• Offer educational workshops and emotional support to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of treatment options and available resources.

• Deliver crisis intervention support, ensuring patients receive timely help during critical moments.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient interactions in accordance with hospital policies and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals undergoing detoxification and mental health treatment. The patient population is diverse, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and experiences with substance use disorders. By addressing the psychosocial aspects of recovery, you will actively contribute to their overall mental health and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
