Track and Trace Analyst

Position Overview Join Burlington Stores, Inc. as a Logistics Track and Trace Analyst. In this role you will ensure all inbound shipments arrive at one of our distribution centers on time and in compliance with routing and shipping guidelines. You will generate and publish reports on the status of all domestic and international purchase orders, tracking and managing the movement of purchase orders, identifying key and low‑performing vendors, and collaborating closely with merchant partners to summarize and share relevant details. Your work directly impacts the receipt and flow of goods to over 1,000 stores and involves internal interactions with merchant teams, merchandising operations, and supply chain partners as well as external engagement with vendors and carriers. A Day In The Life Analysis Track and trace inbound freight shipments from multiple vendor distribution centers to Burlington’s distribution centers. Analyze and monitor vendor performance, identify low‑performing vendors, and create strategic action plans to improve overall shipping performance. Demonstrate forward thinking and proactively propose ideas and solutions to address potential issues. Relationship Management Build strong relationships with merchants, maintaining credibility and responsiveness. Provide support and analysis regarding merchandise whereabouts as needed. Partner with vendors, domestic carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely pick‑up and deliveries. Navigate internal and external partnerships in person and virtually to review issues and coordinate shipments. Approach challenges as opportunities and resolve them positively. Reporting Generate daily reports tracking the movement of all purchase orders from creation to receipt. Coordinate, prepare, and drive recap meetings with merchant and leadership teams at all levels. Create ad hoc reports as needed. Publish accurate, timely reports with strong attention to detail. Communication Communicate critical information to internal and external partners in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Run internal and external partner meetings independently, adapting to different audiences and situations. You’ll Come With Ability to interact with all levels of vendors, carriers, and provider partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). College degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish, Korean, or Chinese) is a plus. Effective written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills. Quick critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent customer service and client‑relations skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Collaborative teamwork abilities. Goal‑setting proficiency. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible schedule; peak season may require non‑standard hours. Possible minimal travel, including day trips to the New York office and local stores.
