Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations to set therapeutic goals tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions, helping clients navigate emotional and psychological challenges.

• Closely monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies, making adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate with primary care providers, contributing insights into patient care decisions and appropriate referrals for specialized mental health services.

• Implement relapse prevention techniques and support patients in developing coping strategies and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Document patient information meticulously in treatment records, ensuring ongoing communication with primary care teams regarding patient progress.

• Participate in program development initiatives by consulting with management on behavioral health services and patient outcomes.

• Educate patients on self-management skills and resources, promoting their active engagement in their treatment journeys.

• Maintain the highest standards of ethical practice as per the Clinical Professionals' Code of Ethics and adhere to organizational policies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling is required.

• Possession of a valid LPC license to practice in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy systems.

• Strong analytical skills to assess individual client needs and develop effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience\n
