Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage in various therapeutic tasks designed to foster growth and healing in clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Lead interactive group sessions where clients can share experiences and develop interpersonal skills in a supportive setting. You will encourage dialogue and facilitate discussions that promote understanding and connection among participants.

• Individual Therapy: Conduct one-on-one sessions, providing tailored counseling that addresses each client's specific thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. You will employ evidence-based techniques to help clients formulate coping strategies and actionable steps.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their unique needs and preferences. You will guide the planning process and ensure that each client’s voice and choice are central to their mental health journey.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and client feedback to track therapeutic progress. You will evaluate outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure clients are achieving their desired goals.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. You will engage in regular communication to share insights and coordinate care for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our partial hospitalization program (PHP). This client population often faces a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management. As a counselor, you will be instrumental in helping these individuals overcome obstacles and regain their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and willingness to continually update skills and knowledge.

Preferred Experience\n

While clinical experience is valued, we encourage candidates with diverse backgrounds in mental health care to apply. Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
