Medical Director, Dermatology, non-MD

Pfizer seeks a Medical Director for its dermatology franchise to develop medical strategies, support clinical development, and engage healthcare stakeholders. The role involves medical communications, advisory board planning, and clinical education across marketed and pipeline medicines in immunology and specialty care.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for fair balance and compliance
- Collaborate across commercial, field medical, and health economics teams on brand strategy
- Plan and execute advisory boards, symposia, and congress-related scientific activities
- Lead publication planning and data generation activities to educate healthcare providers
- Develop and maintain healthcare provider engagement plans and training curricula
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years relevant experience, or MBA/MS with 7+ years, or BA/BS with 8+ years
- Demonstrated leadership with ability to influence peers and guide team outcomes
- Strong presentation and communication skills with relationship-building capability
- Clinical or pharmaceutical industry background in dermatology or related therapeutic areas
- Experience in medical affairs, clinical trials, or drug development
- Specialty training and board certification in dermatology preferred
Compensation: $176,600–$294,300 base, plus 20% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
