Business Ops /Deal Desk Analyst - Contract - 100% Remote - CST


The client for this role is a SaaS platform company. As a Senior Deal Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales team members with guidance on deal structure, pricing, and commercial terms escalating issues to the leadership team. You will manage the entire deal process from quote to order with guidance from the leadership team.


Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have 5-7+ years of total experienc e.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and deal structuring .
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle multiple deals simultaneously.
• Experience in contract negotiation and language drafting.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.
• Prior experience in a SaaS platform/product is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including accounting, finance, legal, product, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong process orientation, organizational, and planning skills - Planning and prioritizing work to manage time and resources effectively and accomplish assigned tasks.
• Good communication skills, who can interact cross-functionally with non-technical departments.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Deal Structure and Deal Management. Act as a trusted advisor to sales on deal structures, pricing best practices, and deal options with guidance from the leadership team.
• Liaises on behalf of sales with Accounting, Legal, Product, and other internal teams to collaboratively align cross-functional teams and obtain approvals.
• As a Project manager, oversee the entire deal from the opportunity to order including contract drafting and approvals.
• Provide data and order management on contract negotiations and current sales opportunities.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of the products through a commitment to ongoing training.
• Review redlines and with guidance from senior team members or Legal, draft contract language when needed for deal structures.
• Guides sales in creating standard deal structures when possible and with guidance from senior team members is also able to navigate revenue recognition and legal concerns when crafting nonstandard deals; loops in Accounting and Legal as required.
• Forecast Management Partners with sales leadership to understand deal prioritization and drive deals to closure.
