Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Description

As a Production Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of supporting production operations. Your role ensures that the production floor runs smoothly, remains on schedule, and maintains strong performance levels. You will serve as the primary point of contact for addressing questions, resolving urgent concerns, and managing work assignments efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for all floor-level requests, questions, and concerns.
• Capture and route needs to the appropriate team or individual, ensuring they are addressed.
• Log problems and opportunities in the input system for tracking and resolution.
• Prevent and resolve issues using the Situation Handling Guide.
• Direct personnel to the appropriate team when issues fall outside their scope.
• Identify high-risk situations and escalate them to leadership following the Basic Escalation Guide.
• Ensure the department stays on schedule by aligning jobs with the right machines.
• Assign resources to ensure personnel are working on the right tasks at the right time.
• Scan jobs and reconcile locations to maintain area accuracy.
• Ensure documentation is complete and up to date.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production scheduling and planning.
• ERP knowledge.
• Experience leading teams of 10 or more people.
• Assertive communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing production employees.
• Aerospace experience is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in a warehouse/production environment with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You will be provided with a laptop and a standing desk to move around the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Commerce,CA.
