Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Assessing and diagnosing clients through thorough evaluations and clinical interviews.

• Developing and implementing individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
\n
• Conducting therapy sessions that focus on building coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and enhancing communication abilities.
\n
• Continuously monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Assisting clients in the development and execution of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
\n
• Providing education about available community resources and advocating for clients to access these services successfully.
\n
• Facilitating skill-building activities to improve daily living skills, leisure interests, and management of symptoms.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of treatment interventions and client interactions to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clients you will serve are individuals aged 18 and older who are dealing with various mental health conditions. Many of these clients may struggle with daily life activities and face barriers to achieving independence within their communities. As a counselor, your role is critical in helping them navigate their challenges and support their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current, valid license in the State of Colorado as a:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• The ability to work independently and without supervision.
\n
• No disciplinary actions affecting your license.
\n
• Proficiency in the use of technology and software for telehealth services.
\n
• A reliable internet connection to conduct therapy sessions effectively.
