• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
