Marketing Assistant - Admin Assistant Hourly (FULL TIME) Location: CALIFORNIA POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY We are hiring immediately for full time Marketing Assistant - Admin Assistant Hourly positions. Shifts vary with needs of business. Evenings and weekends included. More details upon interview! Requirement : Previous marketing experience required, social media experience is a plus. Writing & Communications: Write, edit and proofread newsletters, promotional copy, campus communications and content supporting Campus Dining programs, events and initiatives. Social Media: Manage day-to-day social media content, including writing copy, maintaining the content calendar, scheduling posts and capturing photo/video content. Events & Promotions: Support the planning, promotion and execution of Campus Dining events and activations, including pre-event communications, on-site support and content capture. Project Coordination: Manage multiple communications projects and deadlines while coordinating with the Marketing team, Campus Dining operators and campus partners to ensure content is accurate and delivered on time. Pay Range: $28.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour. Job Summary Summary: As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the operation with marketing, merchandising, and promotions to ensure superior service and maximize profits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Analyzes customer/resident research, current market conditions and competitor information. Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts. Expands and develops marketing platforms. Manages the productivity of the marketing plans and projects. Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activity and results. Delivers marketing activity within agreed budget. Reports on return on investment and key performance metrics. Creates marketing presentations. Monitors industry best practices and trends. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1 year of marketing experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present to large groups. Knowledge of merchandising and promotions. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet. A bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is preferred.
