Senior Accountant (Temporary)

Job Overview – Senior Accountant (Temporary) Compensation: $100 – $130/hour (Dependent on Experience) Location: Remote Schedule: Monday to Friday Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant (Temporary) for our client, supporting full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and operational accounting across a multi-entity environment. This role works closely with senior leadership to manage accounting processes, intercompany transactions, and reporting activities while utilizing tools such as Excel and NetSuite. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a lean environment. Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant: Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial records, supporting schedules, and journal entries across multiple entities. Intercompany Accounting: Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations to ensure accuracy across entities. Accounts Payable: Process and review high-value invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payments. Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across balance sheet and income statement accounts. Audit and Compliance: Support audit and tax processes, including preparation of documentation and coordination with external partners. Ad Hoc Support: Assist with reporting, analysis, and special projects in support of finance leadership. Qualifications for the Senior Accountant: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting within a multi-entity environment is required. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and intercompany accounting is required. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are required, with NetSuite experience preferred. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
