Accounting Analyst

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to support a contract engagement in Modesto, California. This role will focus on accounting operations tied to a QuickBooks environment, with an emphasis on data accuracy, reconciliation, and system-related financial support. The position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can manage detailed financial work independently while helping maintain continuity during a time-sensitive project.Responsibilities:• Lead accounting-related activities associated with the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.• Review, organize, and move historical and active financial records into the new system with a high degree of accuracy.• Perform reconciliations and verify balances to confirm that converted data aligns with approved financial records.• Use month-end and balance sheet information to identify discrepancies and resolve conversion-related issues.• Assist with retiring legacy accounting processes as operations shift to the online platform.• Provide practical guidance to staff members on navigating and using QuickBooks Online effectively.• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to keep project milestones on track and address implementation challenges promptly.• Help ensure the accounting system is fully functional and ready for operational use by the required deadline.
