Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients by documenting comprehensive surgical, medical, and psychosocial health histories, including performing detailed examinations and noting pertinent findings.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory tests and imaging studies, to establish accurate diagnoses and adapt treatment plans based on data from these assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on illness processes, management strategies, and preventive care measures, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of patient care activities, treatment interventions, and ongoing assessments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population of students from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring equitable access to mental health services. Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• An active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a commitment to collaborative care.
• A willingness to adapt and thrive in a flexible work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a school-based or community health setting, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Demonstrated capability in providing behavioral health care, including familiarity with assessment and treatment of common mental health disorders.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and data management.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
