Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, including crisis intervention plans, risk assessments, and behavioral guidelines.

• Document all clinical services and client interactions promptly and in compliance with regulatory standards to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Employ evidence-based screening tools in cooperation with our multidisciplinary clinical team to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with various teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with our treatment objectives.
\n
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure our services meet required standards.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, helping to navigate state agencies and community support resources.
\n
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to promote the mission of Shelby County Counseling Center within the broader community.
\n
• Build and strengthen partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance service delivery and explore new funding opportunities.
\n
• Participate in professional development opportunities such as conferences and workshops, representing our agency and enhancing your expertise.
\n
• Promote and embody the core mission, values, philosophy, and principles of the agency in all interactions.
\n
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the operations and tasks of the counseling center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing emotional distress, clients in recovery from substance use disorders, and those with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your focus will be on providing personalized support that emphasizes resilience, wellness, and independence, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license is essential.
