Overview
Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel) position in Glendale, California. Telemetry specialty. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week assignment. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of telemetry patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
- Collect pertinent patient data, analyze assessments, develop and implement an appropriate care plan, and evaluate outcomes
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient status using critical thinking and independent judgment
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; coordinate care with other disciplines and ensure safe, healing environment
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and advocate for continuity of care

Requirements
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; CPR or BLS per policy
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent (acute care) nursing experience
- EMR: Recent experience with EPIC and Cerner systems; proficient in both
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital telemetry unit; strong clinical judgment and communication; night-shift proficiency
