Security Officer Level III Armed Rover – Austin, TX As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 06:30 AM – 06:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to observe customer and employee activity, assist with access‑related concerns, and document security‑related incidents according to site procedures. Work with local management and/or first responders during medical events, alarms, suspicious activity, and other security‑related concerns while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Will participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
