Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, addressing both pre-crisis and crisis situations.

• Document all client sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating seamless continuity of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to enhance assessment accuracy and treatment effectiveness.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans that align with each client’s goals.

• Participate in all licensing and accreditation initiatives, ensuring our programs meet rigorous state and federal standards.

• Act as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance resource accessibility for clients.

• Establish and sustain effective communication channels with clients, colleagues, and external partners to uphold our mission within the community.

• Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and private organizations to promote services and secure potential new partnerships and funding.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at conferences, training, and participation in statewide meetings and task forces relevant to your area of expertise.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to advance our program goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to mental health, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Your work will be crucial in offering these individuals the therapeutic support they need to navigate their unique life circumstances and to achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license granted by the state board.
