Job Details Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele RN Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 01/04/2027 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Shifts Per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040 Orientation: 24 hours Unit Setting: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Floating: Required within comparable units as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience Current BLS certification ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred or required per assignment compliance Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission Experience with Epic electronic health record system Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV starts Ability to manage patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5 Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail Travel nursing experience required Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition promptly Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols Support a safe, efficient patient care environment across assigned units Float to equivalent or lower-acuity units within the organization as needed Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic charting system Follow infection control, isolation precautions, and unit-specific protocols Deliver compassionate bedside nursing care while adapting to a fast-paced float pool environment Apply now for this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and join a dedicated healthcare team today.
