Job Details Specialty: PCU / Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Weekend Requirement: Every other/third weekend Float Requirement: Floating within the organization is required Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Unit Focus: Burn and specialty surgery with mixed-acuity patients Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU or Progressive Care Unit experience required BLS and ACLS certification required Experience with charting systems and medication dispensing systems preferred Comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients in a higher-acuity clinical setting Ability to work nights and float as needed within the organization Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care setting Monitor patients with burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial needs Perform and support specialty care such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy Manage IVs, central lines, arterial lines, telemetry, oxygen therapy, and related interventions Administer medications and titrate therapies according to unit protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, efficient patient care Maintain accurate documentation and promote excellent patient outcomes Apply now for this rewarding travel nurse job in Columbus, Ohio and join a healthcare team committed to quality patient care.
