Job Details Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Mixed-Acuity Adult Unit Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Hours Per Week: 36 Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/05/2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Patient Population: Adult cardiac and transplant-related stepdown patients Charting System: Epic Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience in telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or PCU-level care Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and rhythm recognition skills Experience with central line and PICC line care preferred Comfortable with IV management, medication protocols, and adult acute care Ability to float within the organization as needed Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with complex cardiac and mixed-acuity needs Monitor telemetry, assess rhythm changes, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely and accurately Support patients recovering from transplant-related and hepatology conditions, including kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis care Perform ongoing assessments, document care in Epic, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Work alongside support services to promote excellent patient outcomes Float to other units within the organization when needed Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in a fast-paced clinical setting Apply now to join this Columbus, Ohio travel nursing opportunity and bring your cardiac stepdown RN expertise to a team that values quality patient care.
