Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in Suffolk, Virginia. Work Environment

This role primarily involves working onsite at our patients' homes in and around Suffolk, Virginia. The working schedule is set from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM. This environment promotes a strong focus on individualized patient care, allowing for tailored therapeutic approaches that can adapt to the dynamic needs of each patient. As a full-time employee, you also become an integral part of our collaborative team, sharing insights and strategies with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients, utilizing specialized assessment techniques to identify their unique needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals, obstacles, and recovery pathways for each client.
• Regularly reassess and document clinical signs, symptoms, and progress using our electronic record system, ensuring timely adjustments to patient care as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about the healing process, guiding them through potential challenges, recovery goals, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other disciplines within Motion Physical Therapy, sharing expertise and strategies for clients receiving multiple therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children with developmental delays to those recovering from various injuries or surgeries. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's Degree or DPT is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia, or eligibility for licensure.
• Willingness to conduct both in-person and telehealth evaluations and sessions as needed for patient care.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care, demonstrated by a willingness to adapt methods and approaches based on individual client needs.
• Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment, responding effectively to the evolving healthcare landscape.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist in a home care setting, with a focus on pediatric rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
