Work Environment

This full-time position entails working onsite in our physical therapy clinic, where collaboration and teamwork are valued. You will be part of a close-knit group consisting of two physical therapists and an experienced physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic is structured to ensure a patient-focused approach, with a commitment to maintaining a manageable caseload that allows for dedicated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and address patients' health goals by establishing personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, enhancing the quality of care provided.
• Implement effective cost-conscious therapies aimed at improving range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Explore and promote non-surgical alternatives to pain management to encourage healthier outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation techniques and modalities to address patient-specific issues and optimize recovery.
• Design and adapt fitness and wellness programs that cater to individual patient requirements.
• Provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Encourage and motivate patients to remain engaged in their treatment journey and overall health improvements.
• Promote integral aspects of a healthy lifestyle, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all patient interactions and treatment services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient base includes individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and functional enhancement, many of whom are covered by private insurance. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions should have been taken against the license holder.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and their application in patient care.
• Ability to design effective and safe exercise regimens based on patient evaluation.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly familiarity with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or working alongside healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
