Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center in Suffolk, Virginia, offers a collaborative and engaging work setting. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will be scheduled Monday through Friday, with typical shifts running from either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technology, enabling you to deliver effective treatment plans efficiently and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients across varying age groups to assess their needs and developing individualized treatment strategies.
• Executing treatment plans utilizing various methods such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced modalities, ensuring to tailor each approach to meet specific patient goals.
• Monitoring patients' progress meticulously, documenting sessions accurately, and adjusting treatment plans dynamically based on patient responses and outcomes.
• Reassessing and redefining therapeutic goals while staying attuned to the evolving requirements of each patient.
• Introducing and fitting patients with necessary assistive devices to facilitate their mobility and independence in their daily lives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), ensuring a strong foundation in evidence-based practice.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, demonstrating compliance with professional standards.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience, illustrating hands-on practice and the ability to effectively manage patient care.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, candidates with two or more years in a clinical setting will be favored. Compensation and Benefits
