Guided Grace Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Suffolk, Virginia. Work Environment

The work environment at Guided Grace Therapy Center is both professional and compassionate, set within a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will be part of a collaborative team where open communication and teamwork are highly valued. You will be supported by skilled personnel, such as Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists (OTs), and speech-language pathologists (SLPs). Our typical schedule runs Monday to Friday, with rotating hospital shifts on weekends to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients with various physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. Use clinical assessments to guide the development of comprehensive treatment plans that align with physician recommendations.
• Set measurable goals for patient progress, consistently reassessing treatment efficacy and modifying interventions as needed to optimize recovery pathways.
• Provide hands-on therapy, employing a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's age and development, ensuring that therapeutic interventions align with best practices.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including evaluations, treatment activities, discharge summaries, and charge information, to maintain compliance with professional standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and handle billing processes responsibly, ensuring transparency and accountability in all aspects of care delivery.
• Supervise and mentor PTA staff and support personnel, fostering their professional development while ensuring excellent patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate individualized care plans, integrating input from various professionals to enhance patient rehabilitation outcomes.
• Prepare reports for the Director, providing insights for quality improvement initiatives and contributing ideas to enhance service delivery and workplace environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to design and implement specific rehabilitation protocols tailored to each diagnosis, directly impacting patient recovery trajectories and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and familiarity with rehabilitation management software.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set in patient care and treatment methodologies.
• Experience in a rehabilitation center or hospital environment would be advantageous due to the fast-paced nature of our services.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
