Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients’ needs, including psychological evaluations and treatment history, to establish a clear picture of their therapeutic journey.

• Deliver individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, tailored to each client's specific circumstances.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect clients’ goals, preferences, and challenges while adjusting strategies based on their progression and feedback.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and assessments in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training relevant to best practices in mental health and addiction treatment.

• Develop a therapeutic alliance with clients through active listening, empathy, and support that fosters trust and facilitates a sense of safety and likelihood for growth.

• Provide crisis intervention services as required for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies during therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical staff and other clinicians, to ensure comprehensive care is provided to all clients.

In this role, you will work directly with individuals in a detox setting, many of whom are grappling with substance use and related mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, equipping you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed for clinical practice.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey, ensuring adherence to state regulations and ethical practices.

• At least two years of experience working in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on substance use disorders and mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
