Work Environment

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will work on-site in our engaging rehabilitation center located in the vibrant community of Palm Beach. Our facility is equipped with modern rehabilitation equipment and offers a comfortable environment that fosters healing and collaboration. Operating primarily Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have the opportunity to interact closely with patients and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess individual needs and establish realistic and achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive, tailored treatment plans that address the specific conditions of each patient.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on effective rehabilitation strategies and exercises, promoting self-management and long-term success.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and PTAs, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and progress documentation to track treatment efficacy and facilitate continuity of care.
• Create a positive and motivating environment that encourages patient engagement and progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, or eligibility for licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Physical Therapy (PT) program.
• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply as mentorship will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, essential for maintaining accurate patient documentation and records.
• A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific patient populations such as geriatric, orthopedic, and sports medicine is a plus.
• Familiarity with using rehabilitation software for patient documentation and treatment planning.
• Skills in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.
