A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist to join a dedicated healthcare team in Overland Park, KS. This direct hire position offers a professional setting where you will play a critical role in preparing, dispensing, and monitoring complex intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous medications within a home infusion context. Your expertise will ensure exceptional patient care through sterile compounding, clinical monitoring, and comprehensive education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare specialty pharmaceuticals and IV solutions in compliance with state and federal sterile compounding regulations.
• Monitor patient lab values, perform pharmacokinetic dosing calculations, and adjust Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) treatments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion pump use, sterile techniques, and catheter care at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapy management and reduce hospital readmissions.
• Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements including State Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, FDA, DEA, Medicare, ACHC, URAC, and OSHA.
• Oversee pharmacy inventory, manage refrigerated products, and ensure safe medication shipping to patients.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of infusion specialty pharmacy experience.
• IVIg expertise highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of specialty therapy payer requirements, reimbursement, and contract obligations.
• Current and good standing Kansas pharmacist license.
• Preference for additional licenses in CA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, NV, OR, OK, TN, TX.
• Experience with CareTend system is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Participation in on-call rotation (typically less than 5 after-hours calls weekly)
