Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient contexts and devise personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that prioritize mobility, strength enhancement, balance, and overall functionality
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of nurses, doctors, case managers, and rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and prescribed home exercises
• Maintain clear documentation of assessments, treatment courses, and patient progress according to facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to guarantee coordinated and comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure required as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification highly preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience in a similar role is strongly recommended
